RESIDENTIAL WORKERS

The National Horseracing College seeks to employ two Residential Workers to join its enthusiastic, vibrant, and hardworking team.  As one of only two specialist horse racing colleges in the UK, this third sector provider delivers training for people in the racing industry.  Located in the scenic grounds of a private estate near Doncaster, it achieved Ofsted Grade 2 in 2016.

To be selected for this interesting, challenging role, you must have experience of working with young people, preferably within a residential setting, good communication skills and a full driving licence

The Residential Team works a six-week rota, hours of work are as follows:

Post 1

  • Week 1 – Saturday & Sunday 6.00pm – 10.30pm
  • Week 2 – Monday 5.00pm – 10.30pm & Thursday & Friday 5.00pm – 10.30pm
  • Week 3 – Thursday 5.00pm – 10.30pm & Saturday & Sunday 6.00pm – 10.30pm
  • Week 4 – Monday 5.00pm – 10.30pm
  • Week 5 – Tuesday & Friday 5.00pm – 10.30pm & Saturday & Sunday 6.00pm – 10.30pm
  • Week 6 – Nil

Salary – £5,216.62 per annum.

  • Week 1 – Nil
  • Week 2 – Tuesday & Wednesday 5.00pm – 10.30pm & Saturday & Sunday 6.00pm – 10.30pm
  • Week 3 – Wednesday & Friday 5.00pm – 10.30pm
  • Week 4 – Friday 5.00pm – 10.30pm & Saturday & Sunday 6.00pm – 10.30pm
  • Week 5 – Monday & Wednesday 5.00pm – 10.30pm
  • Week 6 – Friday 5.00pm – 10.30pm & Saturday & Sunday 6.00pm – 10.30pm

Salary – £5,619.66 per annum.

There will be opportunities to pick up extra hours / shifts with holiday cover.

Included is a holiday entitlement of 25 days (+ Bank Hols) (pro-rata), Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), and Life Assurance (2x salary).
