Engagement Assistant
Alexa spent her childhood surrounded by horses. An active member of The Pony Club, she particularly enjoyed Mounted Games and represented her Club and County competing on her ponies.
Upon leaving school, Alexa joined Careers in Racing, the careers marketing arm of the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), Youth Collaboration Group. Open to those age 14 – 21 with an interest in marketing and the sport of horseracing, Alexa enjoyed a couple of years working with the team on racedays, proofreading, copy editing and taking over the Careers in Racing social media platforms.
The Youth Collaboration Group experience inspired Alexa to apply for a highly sought-after place on the 2024 Racing Media Academy. Dazzling the interview panel with her enthusiasm and passion for the sport, Alexa secured a place which commenced with an intense week in Newmarket training with racing’s leading media figures before commencing her placement at Doncaster Racecourse in the Marketing Department.
Having gained valuable experience in Marketing, Alexa transitioned over to Racing and Events Coordination at Doncaster Racecourse.
Alexa joined the National Horseracing College Marketing Team in May 2025.
