Open Mornings at the National Horseracing College (NHC) are designed for parents, guardians, potential learners, and career advisors to find out more about the National Horseracing College and the wide range of courses we offer.
Our Open Mornings start at 10.15am and finish at approximately 12.30pm. We ask for all visitors to register by 10am at the Visitor Centre, which is located on the left down the lane to the National Horseracing College main site. During the event, visitors will learn more about the 12-week residential Foundation Course, meet the horses and the instructor team, watch learners riding on the gallops (weather permitting), watch a demonstration on the racing simulators and hear from current learners about their experience at the NHC.
We advise that visitors wear suitable footwear and clothing as the majority of the tour will take place outdoor and the British weather can be very unpredictable. We also ask for visitors not to bring dogs. Please be aware that the format of the day may vary depending on government advice.
Registration is required to attend an Open Morning. To register please complete the below registration form by midday the day before the event you wish to attend and our team will send you full details. We cannot accept online registration forms after the cut-off date and time. You will also receive an email after the event highlighting important information about courses at the NHC, how to apply, and information about careers in the horseracing industry.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Due to Covid-19 and the NHC’s regulations, we can only welcome a maximum of 2 children (under 16’s) per 1 adult. A maximum of 2 adults and 4 children per registration form.
