Catherine’s journey into the equestrian world started with a book called “Champion the Wonder Horse” and 5 years of begging for a horse until her parents gave in. She attended the University of Western Ontario, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in History/French and a Bachelor of Education in Intermediate/Senior.
After working a variety of non-equine-related jobs, including a Stage Manager, Catherine started working as a freelance coach and competing in dressage and eventing.
In 2003, Catherine was hired as Director of Equestrian Activities for Camp Green Acres for 5 years. She then became Head Trainer/Coach for The Equestrian Sport Services until leaving Canada to live in the UK in 2022.
More recently, Catherine was working at a College as a Course Manager for Level 3 Equine Management.
Catherine’s proudest moment was representing Canada internationally in Tent Pegging. She is also the proud carer of an Oldenburg mare, Onyx and a Maine Coon Cat, Morse.
Catherine joined the team in July 2025.
