Libby Crutwell

Libby joined the Doncaster Equine College team in September 2025 as an Equine Studies Lecturer. She has completed the Level 2 Horse Care and Management and the Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma. Within this time, she also completed her BHS stage 1.

Libby has only worked in the equine industry for around 4 years however she has always been involved with the sport from a young age. She has plenty of yard experience including working at the Doncaster Equine College whilst working up the levels as a weekend yard technician. Libby has gained a lot of knowledge and experience whilst working in the equine industry and feels passionate about supporting and sharing this with the learners at the college.

One of Libby’s greatest achievements to date is competing Doncaster Equine College horse, Steel Blue, in the Tattersalls RoR Open Show Series Final at Hickstead!

In her spare time, she likes to spend time with friends and family and taking her own horse out and about on adventures.
