Equine Studies Lecturer (DEC)
Sarah is a UKCC Level 3 Coach qualified through British Showjumping, holding a Level 3 National Diploma in Equine Studies and a Level 4 AAT Accountancy qualification. She has transported horses across the UK and EU since 2015 through Avalon Mill Equestrian Horse Transport & Horsebox Hire, as well as setting up a small riding school. Sarah has produced horses for showjumping, previously working as an external trainer for Bransby Horses.
Sarah competes in showjumping up to 1.30m level at major agricultural shows, including the Lincolnshire Show and the Great Yorkshire Show. A registered Para Rider following a serious accident, however she mainly competes in able-bodied showjumping and has been selected by British Showjumping to represented Great Britain internationally at Munich, La Baule, Bonheiden
Joining in January 2026 as an Equine Studies Lecturer, Sarah brings real-world industry experience into education, with a strong focus on welfare, practical skills, and preparing students for professional equine careers.
