Open Morning Visits to resume at the NHC

We’re delighted to announce that as of Friday 23rd April 2021 we will be welcoming Open Morning visitors back to the National Horseracing College.

This will be subject to government guidelines. Strict social distancing rules must be adhered to, face masks must be worn unless you are medically exempt, and you are advised to visit in limited numbers (for example, one parent/guardian and the potential learner). We will keep everyone informed of any changes.

In April 2020 we adjusted, alongside many others, to deliver our Open Mornings virtually, via Zoom, and although they have proved successful, we are very much looking forward to welcoming visitors back to the NHC for our Open Mornings to showcase our facilities. We understand that many may prefer not to travel and visit the NHC, therefore we will continue to run a ‘Virtual Open Mornings’ every 2 months. These will enable viewers to learn more about courses at the NHC, and see a typical morning for Foundation Course learners. 2021 dates can be found on our website.

To view previous virtual open morning videos, head over to our Facebook page. You can also view previous videos on our YouTube Channel.

Registration is required for both the Virtual Open Mornings and the Open Mornings that take place at the NHC. To register please complete an online registration form by 15:30 the day before the event you wish to attend and our team will send you full details. You will also receive an email after the event highlighting important information about courses at the NHC, how to apply, and information about careers in the horseracing industry.
