35 wins as a Jockey
Retired to become a trainer
Sam was always involved with horses ever since a young age. After her early years spent with the pony club, she then moved on to point to pointing where she decided to join the NHC to enable her to accomplish the Level 1 foundation course.
She furthered her career by training and riding with great success. She then had a brief spell as a professional jockey where she rode 35 winners.
Sam rode a horse for Panther when coming second at Wetherby and continued riding the horse until it got retired. She then decided to retire as a jockey and persue her first love of training racehorses. She has now taken over her father’s string at Manor Farm, sending out her first runner, which was a successful winner and will continue training more winners.
