William is a qualified accountant and member of The Chartered Governance Institute with decades of experience working full-time in a FTSE 250 company. On the Board of a multi-academy trust (MAT), he helped to turn around its finances from near failure to a very strong position. William joined the NHC’s Board in 2025.
