Brothers Now Living The Dream

On Thursday 30th May we had the pleasure of welcoming Tom and Harry Ryall to the College. Eldest brother Tom completed the 12-week residential foundation course in 2014 before relocating to Dorset to work for Grade 1 winning trainer Harry Fry as the Assistant Head Lad. Now going into his sixth season at the Fry’s, the best thing about working in racing for Tom is “riding successful horses out each morning and watching them progress throughout their careers”.

“It’s great to work in the same yard as my brother”

Younger brother Harry completed the one day a week 14-16YO programme in 2013-2014 whilst still at school, before completing the 12-week residential foundation course. From here, Harry went on to work for the late Malcolm Jefferson, a very respected and successful trainer based in Malton, North Yorkshire. After completing a year with the Jefferson Team, Harry followed in his brothers footsteps and is currently working as Stable Staff which includes riding out each morning and general yard duties.

Follow their stories on the college Facebook page.

We wish both Tom and Harry the best of luck for the future.
