The National Horseracing College is delighted to acknowledge the generous support of The Racing Foundation, which has helped fund significant improvements to the College’s training facilities.
Recent investment has enabled the installation of a new horse walker and improvements to the railings on the College’s gallop, further enhancing the facilities used by learners and horses on a daily basis.
The National Horseracing College is home to more than 50 horses and provides training for those seeking a career in British racing. With practical, hands-on training at the heart of its programmes, maintaining facilities that reflect the standards of a professional racing yard is essential to learner development and equine welfare.
The new horse walker is already proving a valuable addition to the College’s equine facilities, supporting the exercise and management of horses while helping staff make the most effective use of their time. The upgraded gallop railings will also contribute to a safe and professional training environment for both horses and riders.
These improvements will benefit hundreds of learners who train at the College each year. Whether taking their first steps into racing through the Foundation Course or undertaking further training whilst employed within the industry, learners will continue to develop their skills using facilities that mirror those found in professional racing yards.
